Longden doorsets were specified for the three phase redevelopment
of Durham Town Hall. Built in 1850 and modelled on London’s
Westminster Hall, the Town Hall features an impressive hammerbeam
roof as well as superb stained glass windows, paintings,
heraldic symbols and a magnificent fireplace of local stone.
Doors supplied:
- 4 panel Chippendale Sussex doors and frames constructed in American White Oak
- Architect designed hybrid arched Sheraton door
